Woke very early.  Early enough to be in this wood as the sun rose.  The bluebells need a few more days to be at their best but I reckon it will be a good year for them, possibly because of the hot weather we had in mid April.  Often they have to compete with other shade lovers that spoil the show, but there is little evidence of ferns, bramble or bracken at the moment.

Technical: A 5 shot HDR, processed in DXO's (was Google Nix Collection) HDR Efex Pro.  I used the balanced preset, everything else is way to garish!.  I then reintroduced more contrast into the scene which is taken out in the tone mapping process.  Some judicious use of dodge and burn to emphasise further and a vignette to direct the eye towards the sun in the distance.
