Sunken

After dropping off my wife's car at the garage I headed into Birmingham on the Midland Metro.  It was raining cats and dogs and I was doubtful that there would be any great opportunities for photography.  How wrong can one be?  Two hours later this was the scene in Gas Street Basin, complete with a sunken canal boat for foreground interest.

It made me consider walking back to pick up the car, using the canal network, which would have been a very pleasant and predominantly flat walk.  I'm glad I decided against it because less than an hour later the cats and dogs had returned!
