Tenterhooks

I’m always incredibly nervous when someone sees their wedding ring for the first time. M1 flew over from London this morning and came straight to see the new rings. The wedding’s not until September but I have to make sure they fit before taking them to the Assay Office in London to get them hallmarked.

The brief was to create rings for M&M that incorporated elements from M1’s late mum’s own wedding ring. It had a number of leaves and flowers which I carefully cut out and used in the new rings. 

Luckily M1 loved them and hers, at least, fits perfectly. M2 will try hers on a little later but M1 feels sure it will fit. Phew! Now I can breathe again, and look forward to the wedding day.
