A taste of summer. (briefly!)

I love my garden. I spend hours out there when the weather permits. The cd's on the small miniature plum tree are to deter the wood pigeons who love to eat the new leaves. 
So far, it has been working quite well, and there was a lovely display of blossom which hopefully will be translated into tasty fruit in the autumn. 
I did have 5 kilogrammes a couple of years back  before the pesky pigeons began to raid the newly- forming shoots. 
The weather has been so topsy turvy this year so far, and we are still hoping for better days!
