Derelict boats at Salen.
We were leaving the peninsula today so it was off to the ferry in the morning and across to Mull. The weather wasn't good with lots of rain which kept going until after we went to bed. We stayed in the Land Rover apart from a very quick trip on deck. Tobermory was an eye opener, had we known it would be so colourful and pretty we would have ensured we were on deck for a photo.
We made our way down to Craignure and the caravan site. In the afternoon for want of something better to do we went along to the shore and used the LR as a hide watching for Otters on the rising tide. Success! I spotted an otter fishing not that far out. Eventually it made its way on to the sea weed. Then you realise just how well comouflaged they are in that environment. Sadly the weather was so bad photography was through the window covered in rain.
The blip is a shot taken through the car window as we drove past some "wrecks" at Salen. For a shot through glass on a moving car it hasn't turned out too bad. I thought the dereliction suited the black & white treatment.
