Low Tide
Today I had the pleasure of meeting Steffi for lunch but unfortunately I was working so only had an hour and the time went far too quickly, next time will have to be on one of my days off so we've got more time.
It had rained all morning and was blowing a gale, but not long after I'd got back to work, the sky cleared the sun came out which was good as tonight I'd arranged to meet Anne. Alan said he'd drop me off on his way to his shooting club and then pick me up on his way back - luckily he didn't forget me this time lol!
I'd checked the tide timetable and saw that the low tide was at 7.40pm, so I met Anne at the beach where we had a drink and watched the sun go down. We were surprised to see a woman take her clothes off and go for a swim - well she did have swimwear on, but even so the sea must have been freezing and it was quite rough. Needless to say, she didn't stay in the water for long!
After Alan had picked me up, we called into Asda as it's open 24 hours and got our supplies to take away with us at the weekend so by the time we got home it was nearly 11pm. It's now 12.30am so I'm off to bed and I'll catch up with you tomorrow.
