Wichita Falls, Texas

We left San Antonio at 7:30 this morning and, after getting through the downtown traffic, we had a nice drive.  We drove through a thunderstorm with heavy rain but we were past it in about 20 minutes and the rest of the trip was uneventful.  

We were really unhappy with the campground in San Antonio but the one here makes up for it.  We have a site right across from the river in one direction and a small lake in the other.  Lots of trees and very quiet.  We're here for two nights of much needed R & R before we continue on to Taos.

The wifi is very poor and I didn't have any decent shots with the camera anyway so I decided to do a phone blip tonight.  This is the view from our "patio" :-)

I am grateful that the rain didn't last very long!
