Another Day, Another Beetle

It was a very good day. I got myself to the ocean after a two week absence and walked 1,000 steps! Don't laugh, it's a big deal. That's the distance between the tree where I often see an osprey to the cliff where the cormorants are nesting. There was still a bird on the nest, so maybe I haven't missed the hatching. 

There was more poking around in the garden, and then an appointment with the acupuncturist. Top it all off with an amazing dinner of grilled salmon and local asparagus and I'm a grateful girl.
