A New Variety!

Every few years these yellow irises come up with something unique all on their own--one petal that has a purple section. There are several normal flowers on this stem, just the one that has the design. I've never seen this with any other varieties. I would love to replicate it, but from the little I've read it's a long process involving seeds and sprouting and no guarantee that it will grow true. So this is it folks, your one and only sighting of Iris Soozadayana.
