Pub lunch
The Tuesday magic operated yesterday: it was a lovely day. This morning the weather reverted to type ... steady rain. It cleared up around lunchtime though, so we headed into town for a pub lunch at the Malt Cross (as recommended by the man at the tourist office). It's a pretty building, a former music hall, and the lunch wasn't bad at all. Afterwards we went on a book buying splurge in Waterstone's -- it's not often we get to visit physical English language bookshops. We spent so much that we got £20 off.
Extras: a couple of Nottingham architectural shots. I've never been a fan of Nottingham, but it's getting to be a better looking place.
