Orchids

There was an orchids show in town today so I took a stroll to have a look at the exhibits. I have been rather spoilt this year as I visited the Botanic Gardens in Singapore in February and orchids look much better growing naturally. Anyway, I asked if it was OK to take some photos and this lime green specimen took my eye.
I have planted 39 box plants today, that was a marathon especially as it was rather hot out there today, no complaints though because my husband is in the Canaries overseeing our kitchen upgrade and it’s rather cool out there. I remember the weatherman saying we were gaining from the plume of warm air coming from the Azores. He must be experiencing the back end of the warm weather, ie the cool end.
