First Day Of The Season - And The Last!

It was perfect weather for the opening day of the season at our local outdoor swimming pool and many of the regulars were making the most of it, even if there was probably more chatting than swimming being done. The pool was built in the 1920s and the entrance has a real Art Deco feel to it.

This afternoon saw the last day of the League Two season and Yeovil signed off with a creditable 1-1 draw away at Lincoln, who guaranteed themselves a play off spot.

We went down to collect Sophie for a sleepover so that Kate & Joel could have an evening out. She was outside on her bike when we arrived and was so pleased to see us that she came running over, tripped and did a dramatic face plant. Luckily no teeth were lost or bones broken but she's got some bruises on her face that look like she's gone a few rounds with Nicola Adams. Once she got over the shock, she was soon back to her normal self.
