Discovery

I have no idea what this is, but I spotted it seeping out of a clay bank when I went for my evening walk. It's likely that it's always been here, I've never stopped at this spot before.

I was fascinated by its depth of colour and the fact that it had the shimmer of an oil spill. Pretty.

Maybe it's the next NZ oil strike. Hmmm, guess not. that would have been spotted and exploited long before now.
