Are there hobyahs in here?

I remember a story from back when I was at school (decades ago) about the hobyahs who went "Sneak, sneak, sneaking through the long grass." I can't remember anything else about the book but the hobyahs have always stuck in my head.

Tonight Kiwilizzie, Dumbledorian and I were hobyahs. We'd been told about a track along the river that we'd never taken, so finding it was our mission. When we found it, it was decidedly overgrown and we had to battle our way through broom, blackberry, and long grass. Still, it was nice to see different views of the river.
