Plant sale in the village

also cakes. I forgot to take a photo at the beginning of the sale, this was near the end. A pleasant afternoon with plenty of interest in the sale. All the plants had been grown by just a few locals who are raising funds for the community orchard, the funds are to go towards buying/building an orchard classroom. Great fun to take part.

We have two village halls, the one was a millennium build, big and well used for community events, the other is owned by the church and of the old style village hall I remember as a child, tin roof included, again frequently used. The sale today was in the church hall and for some reason we all like going there. It’s very basic but still has its place in the community. Long may this last.
