The carpet man!

More like the 'Carpet Destruction Man' in this case. After yesterdays blip we've been ripping up and cutting up the sitting room and dining room carpets to a size that will fit into the back of the Alto. These pieces are all about 1.5m wide so there's a lot of carpet in there.
I hate to do it but I took it all to the recycling centre but it had to go into the 'Non-Recyclable' skip so off to landfill.
Most of today has been vacuuming so paint brushes don't pick up bits of muck and fluff, painting the stairs, skirtings, touching up walls and gloss, it's not so easy when you are getting on for 70, even Marlane felt it and she's still quite young (No, I'm not telling you how young!).
