Women behaving badly
Friday night in the toon! Saw the Vivienne Westwood doc at the Belmont with fellow gin heads Kim and Wendy. Worth a wee watch and it had a fleeting appearance from one of my personal 80's idols and Vivienne's muse for many years, Sara Stockbridge - at the time, she made Kate Moss look as bland as Theresa May in a wheatfield.
We quaffed our contraband in the darkness (which I had planned to consume on the bus with Wendy like a true chav but didnt) and then carried on with the ginification of the botanist variety in a few nearby pubs.
Now, about these pubs. Let's make a brief pitstop here to pay pay our respects to what were once independent, chunky tabled, green corded seated comfy havens of shenanigans...now all sadly taken over and all giving you a clone like Belhaven experience of insipid dullness...or am I just getting old???)
Last bus home dodging the usual Aberdonian vacant possessions getting all up and aggressive in each other's faces. Bumped into a merry JM who we escorted home on the Bus, before I headed off to unattractively power walk up the couple of miles to Kingseat in the wee small hours - not through any fitness desire, nah, it was in case the bogey man jumped out at me from the woods. Luckily I didn't have to engage my botanist gin infused ninja skills.
