Bikin' with my baby....

Off we went for our 1st road trip. After a lazy morning over coffee/tea & newspapers we rode 1/2 hr north then turned around and came home. This gave my sweetie a chance to play around with his new bike testing gears and clipping his new cyclingvshoes to the pedals. It went well other than one nerve rattling moment when he was gearing down and the chain got caught & almost came off at a 4 way stop sign. These pics were taken at Glen Abbey Golf Course, home of the Canadian Open. Next w/e we will do another ride a bit longer. I then went to the pool and he to the garden to start working on our front steps. Luckily we were both back home to start cooking dinner before the rains hit. Vegan sheppards pie, ginger snaps and a fabulous potato salad were enjoyed. Excited for the new carpet on the stairs tomorrow!
