High tide at sunset
A miserable, wet start to the day with heavy rain. We needed some more resources for the garden so headed for Inverness.
We went to Redcastle first to see if the bluebells were out, nearly but it was so wet it was hard to see through the window.Driving along by the Beauly Firth we spotted an osprey and we drove along side it for a while until it turned tail and headed back. Lovely to see.
I bought some bee loving parts for Brownies tomorrow so the car was filled with the smell of lavender and rosemary on the way home.
Then, as if by magic, the sun came out and we had a glorious afternoon. This little boat was sailing by as the sun was starting to dip behind the hill.
Sat in the sunshine and drank a few cups of tea.
There are sheep in the field the other side of the burn, have not seen any lambs there yet but hope there are as they are fun to watch.
