Yorkshire Dales

Little Miss travelled out to Harrogate this morning to meet us and then we were off for the day into the Yorkshire Dales in perfect weather :-)

The first stop was Brimham Rocks, managed by the National Trust, these 30ft rocks are caused by erosion of Milstone Grit.

Lunch was eaten in one of our favourite villages, Pateley Bridge followed by a drive through some truly beautiful countryside.

In the afternoon we enjoyed walking in the partial shade around the waterfalls at Aysgarth Falls followed by icecreams & cold drinks.

A wonderful day :-)
