The Tiniest Daffodil

Dear Diary,

All my daffodils are in full bloom right now and it is such a nice sight.  I was wandering around gathering a bouquet for the house when I came across this tiny little solitary daffodil.  I got a ruler to measure it and it is less than 4 inches high!  I don't remember planting miniature daffs and if I had I wouldn't plant just one.  Anyway, it was a sweet discovery.

A very chilly morning but no frost thankfully.  The apple trees are just budding out.  A frost now would doom them.  Last year was a bumper crop which made the deer very happy.  We'll see what  happens this year.
