fußball in berlin

i made a good decision today. i decided to go to the berlin fußball match at olympiastadion.

(("passengers traveling to hoftbahnhof and olympiastadion please change here." i hear that at least twice a day at the friedrichstraße s-bahn station. the accent makes me laugh every time. i both love and hate it. i am glad ive now been to olympiastadion.))

today was just lovely. despite the cold i enjoyed myself immensely. good company and a great match. also, we won 2-1. i forgot how much i love soccer. it is so fun.

it was beautiful. the snow fell in such a way as to make the stadium sparkle. it was soft and slow snow. it felt magical. i felt still and excited in the same breath. i am happy.

i also realised again something i always knew. i think it will help me fight the good fight. ive always admired those who are good. i was reminded of it today. it made me want to be good. this is vague. sorry. either way, im excited to fight the good fight again.
