Under the Rainbow
Today is our last day in England, and this morning we went into St Helens to do a final bit of Christmas shopping.
As we were driving to one of the retail parks, I noticed this sculpture of a coal miner in the centre of a roundabout. I thought it would make an interesting follow up to my blip on Saturday of the sculpture 'Dream' which was built on the old Colliery in St Helens.
After we'd done our shopping I went to take my photo, and saw a wonderfully bright rainbow which went right across the road. I took some great photos of it, and was really pleased when I saw that the end of it went over the sculpture. The rainbow isn't as vivid in this shot, but I like the way the sculpture is lit up, so I've put a photo of the complete rainbow in my blipfolio.
