Ducklings

I spent the day with Victoria as her Mum had to go to work. We did some knitting, sat in the sunshine to eat lunch and generally did very little. She did her exercises and took her medication. Unlike last year, she does not fall asleep during the daytime and was up at 0800 hours!
   
I took today’s picture of a mother mallard and her ducklings. She kept them near the water’s edge, for safety, but it made it difficult to photographs them through the kitchen window when they were that far away.
