One in a Million

Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but there must be at least 500,000 of these in my yard!  The backyard is so full of them that Piper didn't want to step off the deck!

We hated to have our adventure end but we're happy to be home.  The first part of our drive, leaving Taos, was through the mountains past the Angel Fire ski resort.  It was steep and curvy but there was no traffic and it was really beautiful.   Then there was a long stretch of wide open road through a flat area, also very pleasant. Then we got to the Interstate (25) and we were in moderate traffic for the next 200 miles, not so pleasant.  But, we're safely home, and I am grateful for that!  And I am grateful for the wonderful time we had and the 3056 miles we covered without incident!
