Birmingham Botanical Gardens

I hadn’t been there for years. When our weather was forecast for a bright start, I wasn’t going to waste the day.

I love the beauty of their rhododendrons (extra). It was quiet (apart from three lovely and enthusiastic groups of infant school children). One mum was explaining to her son that his granny was there, in spirit among the flowers.

The peacocks were strolling around, rather cheekily. (Extra)

I had fun just wandering with my camera and I’ve enjoyed reliving the gentleness as I’ve looked back over my photos.

I must admit that I was surprised by my final blip choice, but who could resist ?
