Suicidal Suffolk .....

Another busy one today. Once everything done this morning I managed to get away to look some Hereford X heifers on a nearby farm. We bought some for bulling heifers last year and would like to try some again this year.
Managed to do a deal for 12 which I will go back for another day .
Back home in time to check and feed sheep again tonight. For all the sun was out ,it wasn't very warm sat on the quad bike. It must have been warm enough for this Suffolk ewe to get itchy though as she decided to have a scratch and got stuck on her back. This causes gas to build up as they can't belch when upside down , which eventually puts enough pressure on their lungs and heart to kill them if they aren't found and turned upright.
And as we all know , a sheep's life's ambition is to die !
