Irvine

One of those full on days with scheduled meeting being squeezed by additional meetings and discussions and emails requiring urgent attention. And staff tied up for a couple of hours in discussions with a volunteer who wished to explore issues.

On top of that 219 letters and 219 certificates to be signed for reappointments. Managed the bulk of them before leaving for Irvine where we are interviewing for a volunteer leadership position before heading to Dumfries to do something similar there then back to Edinburgh.

Our hotel is sandwiched between the main road and a housing development. Basically a building site: so just like home. Hotel comfortable and quiet but opportunities for a blip limited. This mixture of modernism and almost Japanese like cherry blossom was the best I could do.
