Vacation

My husband, Bill, and I walked through the center of Rome today, and stopped at an outdoor restaurant for gelato.  I love the combination of outdoor activity (lots and lots of walking), history, culture and adventure.  So I'm calling this photo of Bill "Vacation" because I'm glad to see him having the opportunity to relax.

I have also included one of my first street photos, as an extra.  This was actually cheating a bit, because this man was one of those street performers that stands frozen in place.  He was so realistic looking and exactly what we were escaping, that I couldn't resist.  I also liked the contrast with the peeling ancient walls behind him.
