No Hiding Place
Damselflies try to hide from photographers behind the blade of grass on which they are perched. Shame for this one, it was too near the tip and there was no hiding place. :)
The Odonata only emerged a few days ago but they're not wasting any time. Yesterday's hairy dragonfly was ovipositing and I've added a pair of mating damselflies to extras.
I photographed my first cinnabar moth of the season this morning and the red campion has just come into flower under the southerly oak tree.
