Smoke gets in your eyes

An unexpectedly musical morning.

I got to the Quays early, and did some work over a coffee or two at Ziferblat. Took a couple of calls, explained the background music (good new wave C&W with a bit of Van Morrison thrown in) was due to my location. .

Got to the 7th floor at The Landing well in time, on with more work whilst awaiting the visitors. This time, Bowie on a loop - good stuff.

So when I bid farewell to our visitors outside The Lowry and turned to head back and heard this chap outside the Alchemist playing “Smoke gets in your eyes” rather well, it just rounded the morning off.
