Swan in the Garden

This is the second time we've checked out the sitting swan to see if she is still in situ.
The owner of the house came out and I was awfully afraid he was going to tell me off for photographing his house, but thankfully he'd come to invite me into the garden to get a closer shot.  He told us lots of interesting facts about this pair (dad was sitting preening on the canal bank). It is thought that these two are about 16 years old.  Oh, and she's sitting on around 8 eggs!
