Dinner by flashlight

No electricity, water, heating expected for another 7days !!!!
Temps at night close to freezing.
Even mobile phones only work on the emergency numbers. Internet intermittent at best on mobile phones but batteries running out.
Still got the gas hob working so dinner by flashlight + 3 layers of clothes.
Amazing wind damage. All our local roads are blocked.
Luckily no major structural damage but 3 of our very large trees just missed the house. Uprooted and tossed around like toothpicks on Monday night/Tuesday morning. We were very lucky.
