Ring out the bells

Today we hired a quad bike to explore some more of the island. Just as we arrived in Akrotiri a celebration at the church was coming to an end and the bells were ringing out on the breezy air and the flags flying wildly.The black clad priests climbed into a car and the local band and parishoners tucked into a take away picnic from a local shop.
