Tulip Fever

The Bellingham Farmers Market was a glorious sight in today's sunshine, with myriad bouquets of flowers for market-goers to choose from for Mother's Day gifts (Sunday, June 13).

The weather was perfect, and so was the light for those of us who arrived well before the 10 a.m. opening bell was rung. I loved the drama of these scarlet beauties, as well as the glorious massed tulips and the outlier seen in the extra photos.

We'll be eating lots of salads this week, given the quantity of leafy greens and radishes I purchased today!
