In the balance

We popped over to Petersfield Heath late afternoon for a stroll and saw more than twenty-five swans (one sitting on a nest in the usual place) as well as various coots and mallards with their young, a few Canada and Egyptian geese and a man sitting on a bench playing an accordion.
