Heavenly Iris

Iris, the ancient Greek goddess, personified the rainbow, acting as a bridge between earth and heaven. This is one of many in flower in our front garden: a royal blue goddess sticking out her dainty yellow tongue!

*Talking of which, I'm not sure how the hearts are tallied (I think there's normally a short time delay), but although three of you were kind enough to leave lerve, according to the 'notifications', only the number 2 appears beside the heart icon. Curious!
