A beautiful sunny day

An early morning appointment at the Hospital to check that my Pacemaker is working properly. Everything is fine although they did tell me that the battery may need to be replaced in two years, which requires an operation to remove the pacemaker and replace the whole unit, not just the battery. At least the wires to the heart remain and place and just get reconnected once the new unit is fitted. 

After recent exertions I had a quiet afternoon, reading in the sunshine in the garden, taking time out to blip one of my favourite plants, Flame of the Forest. Rather than the whole bush this is just a close up of one stem of leaves.
