Getting the nesting material

Today I went with a friend to Burtom mere to try to improve our bird photography. There were lots of pairs of birds and scraps between egrets and ducks. The black headed gulls were busy building nests and I was amazed how crowded the little island was where they were nesting.
The extras show the nesting material arriving at the nest, another gull coming in to land for its next beak full of twigs and some baby coots.
