Tyne Sands

I was walking in Tyninghame Woods this morning with the dogs and was again taken with the musculature of particular trees and have included a montage on this in my extra.  particularly like the twisted trunk (bottom right) and the lighting on the tree with arms akimbo (bottom left). The rhododendron flower has been included just because the are just coming onto bloom though I noted that many of the leaves on most of the shrubs have been tinged with frost bite.

My main picture is a couple of views across Tyne Sands taken from within the edge of the woods so they are framed by trees and foliage.
