Todays Tiny Tuesday theme is " Mystery Object.  So can you guess what this is?  Hope its not too easy.  Thanks to Riwaka7 for hosting.

Had an appointment to see the podiatrist at the Health Centre this afternoon.  She sorted out my feet as best she could.  I need to go back at 8 week intervals in future - instead of every 12 weeks.

After my appointment I mooched around the village shops then back home to sit outside in the sunsshine and read next weeks Radio Times which arrived in the post this morning.

This evening I was back down to the village again - to the library to hear a talk by a member of the Local History Society.  It was the same chap who was the guide on the village walk I went on a couple of weeks ago. He had a slideshow of around 40 photographs taken by a local photographer showing how Whickham village has changed from 1970 to 1998. I found it very intersting.  It brought back lots of memories of houses and shops which no longer exist. There have been a lot of changes during those 28 years. Around 30 people turned up for the talk and some of them were also members of the history society who had their own memories to share.
