Ceanothus

I haven't found it easy to get a good photo of ceanothus, as the intense blue of the flowers seems a bit washed out. Somehow, the overall effect, which is quite dramatic to see, loses some of its impact in a photo, but as today has been overcast, it's better for showing colour than a sunny day. Although this ceanothus is a day or two away from its peak, I decided to blip it now. I'll try to show the whole bush in an extra in a few days' time, as when it's at its best it really is a sight.
