In the middle of nowhere

Another totally glorious day today! I've been catching up with various necessary things before going down south in the morning and one of these was to go to the tunnel and plant my runner beans. On the way back I came through the glen, one of my favourite 'shortcuts', though as it's mostly a first gear drive it's actually slower!

I stopped to call on a friend who lives out here in the middle of nowhere and a five minute hello turned into an hour-long chat! I took several pictures of Cruachan on my way out and liked this one the best.

My extra today is of a load of ancient clay pots and pans which I acquired this week. I wonder if anyone remembers the time when cracked clay pots were mended with a circle of wire! Those were the days.
