A couple of East Enders

Today was the worst day of the holiday, weather-wise. Dull and cloudy all day with some light drizzle in the afternoon, but not to worry – it’s been great up to now.
 
My brother and I went up to London, to the East End for a change, and walked from the station at Bromley-by-Bow along the River Lea Navigation and down the Limehouse Cut. We passed the locks at Bow and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the sign which I’ve used as one of my extras today. Forgive my warped sense of humour!
 
Later we crossed the Thames on the Emirates Air Line cable car, near the O2 Arena – my Blip today. A second shot from the cable car is my second extra. A wonderful ride which I’ve experienced before, but well worth repeating!
