London zoo

Today was mostly spent at London zoo, helping a group of year 7's understand adaptation. 
It was a great albeit tiring day, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
Sadly for me it was one of those awful days when pretty much everything I took was rubbish!!
So, this shot of the zoo's male tiger is the best of an awful bunch.
personally I dislike the concept of zoos, and whilst I respect the need for conservation and applaud the good work they do I would far rather see an animal in the wild than behind perspex or wire fencing in a zoo environment.
