Paper Thin

Our decision to head home on Friday seemed to have been correct based on this morning's weather. It was cold, wet and windy; we had hail and sunshine but the really striking thing was the amount of standing water that appeared overnight. Not our idea of walking weather.
We dropped Rosie back in Leeds and headed down the M1. A terrible journey back, a diversion to avoid a big hold up probably took as long as sitting in the traffic would have. I am only glad we were not heading north.
So when we got back I had a look round for a suitable subject. This dried flower has been sat on the side for two or three years and the petals are very thin. I have tried to make the photo look old in style hence the somewhat grainy image.
