Beautiful, warm, sunny day

The weather WOWED us today. It was amazing.

We took the opportunity to take the MG out with the top down and soak in some of the glorious sunshine.

We ran some errands and then decided we’d like a cream tea.  But the garden beckoned us and we whiled away a few hours just doing nothing and sleeping in the sun. It was healing.

We finally made it out but unfortunately too late for cream teas as the place had run out.  But with Eileen’s quick thinking, some scones and clotted cream made it home and into our stomachs (via Sainsburys)!

But we did get some wonderful pictures at the gardens around. The warmth and sun made such a difference.

Martin got back today, and thankfully they had gorgeous weather in Birmingham as well.

Wonderful day, so grateful for the sun! England looks amazing when the sun’s out ;-).
