At home- with Catherine Froy

 
 
Dinner this evening with artist friend Catherine Froy and her husband, Mike, in a spectacular house under Stirling castle.
 
It was a chance to catch up with Catherine and hear about her art venture as the first artist in residence at the Jamtli museum in Ostersund in Sweden.
 
She loved the silence and the solitude of the Scandinavian winter, which is just as well because her day began with a 20-minute walk in -18C to her studio.
 

She says the experience of the five-week residency changed her work.
