Saturday night concert

Just back from a fabulous performance of Rackmaninov Piano Concerto No.3 by Stirling Orchestra.
 
The nationally acclaimed  pianist, Jill Rose, gave a virtuoso performance 
 as the guest artist.

An earlier piece by Ottorino Respighi, Pines of Rome, incorporated a real nightingale into the music, which was novel to say the least.
 
Stirling Orchestra were finalists in the 2016 BBC series “All Together Now: The Great Orchestra |Challenge” under their charismatic conductor Stephen Broad.
