E-Type

Spent a great day at Brooklands Museum where a Classic Car Auction was taking place. This 1962 Jaguar E-type was just a rusty empty shell and was being sold with a pile of rusting parts. It had probably spent the last few years abandoned in a field somewhere. It had an estimate of £35,000 - £42,000. It would no doubt cost the same amount of money to restore it. I wonder if it was sold and who bought it.

SILLY? I can think of better ways of spending such a large amount of money.
